1/32 Kettenkrad and Shinden 'Flight Set'
from Zoukei-mura
Our good friends at Volks/Zoukie-mura have sent us some great news for both Luftwaffe fans, and purchasers of their 1/32 Shinden kit. For the first time anywhere, we can reveal that a brand new tooling of the Luftwaffe's airfield motorcycle/tractor combo, the SdKfz2 'Kettenkrad' is to shortly be released, and will soon be available for Pre-Order. This little gem has usually only been available in 1/35 scale which is unsuited to the model aircraft we want to build, so with this in mind, plus the amazing looking kit of the forthcoming Ta 152, Zoukei-mura have solved this 'problem' for us.
Although the Kettenkrad was used in many theatres of war, and for many purposes, us Luftwaffe fans now have their prayers answered.

For those of us that have bought the 1/32 Shinden, if you thought you were being well catered for with the numerous detail sets which Zoukei-mura have released, then be prepared for another. ZM are shortly to release their 'Shinden Flight Set' for their first SWS aircraft kit.
This set comprises of a 'mid flight landing gear cover' and a quite haunting looking figure of a Shinden pilot in an evasive pose. Details for this set are as follows:

Well, ZM do keep their cards very close to their chest, and we at SP&R certainy weren't prepared for these releases. It is good to see a company continuing to suport their current releases and present us with more opportunities. Mr Shigeta's passion for his product does shine through with these releases.
