Being lucky enough to have reviewed the very first SMA magazine and being so impressed with it I was more than a little excited to know I would be getting the opportunity of reviewing this follow up issue, especially as I knew from the little teasers in the last issue of what was to come for this month. Having thoroughly enjoyed the first so much I needed more and it seemed like an age before I got my hands on this # 2 but sure enough it landed on my doormat and now I just hope it can live up to my ambitious expectations and carry on from where the last one left off........on a real high !

Owing to an unprecedented amount of material we have decided to increase the size of our next Airframe & Miniature book, 'The Messerschmitt Bf 109 Early Series (V1 to E-9 including T-series)-A Complete Guide To The Luftwaffe's Famous Fighter' by Richard A. Franks. The finished book will be a thumping 208 pages thick plus covers and two sets of scale plans. To mitigate increased production costs we have had to reset the retail price at £19.95 per copy.
