NEW KITS FOR 2012!  During the winter 'break' between shows we have focussed on finishing a few projects and getting them into production.  This newsletter is dedicated, therefore to highlighting these additions to the range.

Panzer IV Upgrades
Kicking off this month's new items are three kits to embellish and improve the Airfix Panzer IV, bringing it up to ausf H standard.

First is kit C-76059 - Pz IV ausf H upgrade kit.  This provides a full set of tools, a replacement 7.5cm L48 gun, a correctly sized turret bin and air filter system.  Included in the instructions are notes and diagrams to help alter the basic model's structure.  - £7.50

Next, kit C-76063 - Late Pz IV Running Gear is a resin set of wheels comprising a fully spoked drive sprocket, a late-pattern idler, 16 highly detailed roadwheels and eight late-pattern return rollers.  - £5.50

Last of the kits is C-76058 - Pz IV Schürzen, which provides a full set of the additional armour in etched brass.  The parts are made with the same breakdown as the original so that it can be built as damaged in use.  The picture, upper right, shows the model before the skirts are added.- £6.50

Alternatively, the above three sets may be bought together for £16.50.

Airfix Cromwell Conversions
C-76061A Cromwell Vw upgrade resin and etched brass parts to modify the new Airfix Cromwell. Includes full illustrated instructions to help adapt the kit.  £8.50

C-76051A Centaur Conversion set Makes the Airfix Cromwell into a 95mm armed Centaur CS, as used by the Royal Marine Armoured Support Group on D-Day.  It can be built with a protective waterproof bag for the gun and the instructions have illustrated details which show the changes necessary to produce an authentic model.  £9.00

Figure Sets
We have five new figure sets coming out of the moulds! Two sets, each with five seated British Infantrymen.  They include a choice of 10 heads, plus weapons. F-76207 - £9.00, F-76208 - £9.50.  Ideal for the new Airfix Bedford QLT.

Also two sets, each of five different British drivers, perfect for trucks and jeeps etc.  Come with separate heads + arms . F-76209 - £8.00, F-76210 - £8.00

Set F-76211 is a set of five dismounted German AFV crewmen,  They are in relaxed poses tinkering with vehicle parts.  £7.00

Photographs of finished examples will appear on the website very soon.  New figure sets will be ready for despatch week commencing 13th February.

Showtime

Our show season gets under way with On Track Model Show, Leas Cliff Hall, Folkestone on Saturday 25th February 2012. 

This is quickly followed by our first French show - AMAC35 in Rennes over the weekend 10th - 11th March.
